The Tupolev Ghost

'The Tupolev Ghost' is the band's first release on Big Scary Monsters and is the result of many days spent freezing in garages, farm buildings and barns, recording until as late as stamina allowed. It's a record of transition; three tracks with the original line up and three with the new. Regardless, it is the strongest demonstration yet of what The Tupolev Ghost have to offer. The Alpha EP 'The Alpha EP', released July 2008, is available for £4 including postage. This is the first audible offering from The Tupolev Ghost as a four-piece, with Andy Jenkin having joined on drums. It has three tracks produced by Owen Turner at The Sickroom and was mastered at West West Side in New York by Alan Douches. It was then dressed up by the insanely accurate hands of Matt Power at 23:59 and it looks a little like this... |
Take Courage 'Take Courage' was recorded by Owen Turner at The Sickroom over a few short days in 2006 and features James Parrish on vocals and guitar, Ben Perry on bass and Steven Duggins on drums. It received many positive reviews, not least this one, but there are only a limited number still available... |
